My name is September, and if you’re reading this because you’re most likely living with Alpha‑Gal too… I want you to know you’re not alone. I remember what it felt like to have my world suddenly shrink — foods I trusted turning into threats, routines becoming risks, and people around me struggling to understand something they’d never even heard of.

It’s a strange kind of grief, losing the life you had without warning. And it’s a strange kind of courage, learning to build a new one. Alpha‑Gal didn’t ask permission to change my life, but it did teach me something: survival can be quiet, brave, and deeply human.

It’s in the late‑night label reading, the awkward explanations at restaurants, the fear that hits out of nowhere, and the small victories that no one else sees. If you’ve felt those things too, then you already understand more about me than most people ever will.
